Breaking Hearts Since 2016
Happiness is golden
Riley (otherwise known as Smiley Riley) came into our lives in October 2016 and she has changed our world forever! We had never had our own dog before and after moving 3000 miles away, from England to the U.S. in 2014, we always felt something was missing. That something turned out to be the most precious golden retriever ever..
We can’t imagine a time before Riley! She’s the most friendly, vivacious & goofy dog you’ll ever meet. Most of all she’s loving and loyal, and we love her to the moon and back!
Her favourite treats are carrots, coconut oil & peanut butter. She loves to swim, meet new people and doggos! Everyone who meets Riley says how happy she is, we are truly blessed.
Animal Advocacy is so important, speak for those who cannot speak for themselves!

They strive to heal the sick and injured, rehabilitate the neglected and abused and nurture the aged and unwanted. Their vision is to build a refuge-a sanctuary-to serve as a halfway house where each of their beloved Goldens can rest and recuperate, prior to being placed with a foster or permanent family and moving on in their new lives.

All about Riley
Riley is 2 years old. She was born 1st of a litter of 10, 5 boys & 5 girls. Her birthday is October 25th!
Riley is from a breeder called 'Salty Dogs Golden Retrievers' in Maine.
We had always had a love of golden retrievers. Its their sweet and friendly nature/ temperament that make them such great family dogs. We knew we wanted a larger dog, one that could come on our adventures with us and who loved the outdoors! We also loved the variety of colors that their breed come in, from red to English cream - they are all stunning!
Goldens make such wonderful companions and are so loyal and loving. We wanted a dog that would love us as much as we love them, and this breed just fit the bill all around!
We are originally from England, but moved to the U.S. in 2014. We now live in Boston, Massachusetts and have had Riley since 2016.
Riley is not a fan of baths, the vets or being restrained! She can also get scared if children run at her. But she does love children if they are calm and relaxed!
If you have any questions or would like to collaborate we would love to hear from you!
