In September 2018, we took our first vacation with Riley to Maine....Seems fitting as Maine is often referred to as 'Vacationland' by the locals!

We always wanted a pup to take on our outdoor adventures with us and boy did she enjoy it! Riley loves to go hiking and this was the perfect backdrop for it. Riley was also from Maine so it was nice to be able to go back and reminisce whilst enjoying all the beauty that the state has to offer.

What we loved most about Acadia National Park is its diverse terrains and scenery. There really is something for everyone here - from lakes to mountains, rocky beaches and woodlands, to lighthouses! Its simply stunning and very dog friendly too, we highly recommend it. Be sure to check out the local towns of Bar Harbor, Somesville & Tremont.
